I'm surprised I couldn't get through this book, the subject matter usually fascinates me. It's not that it's unreadable, or not accessible to the lay person, but I'd find my mind wandering. I tried skimming to get to the parts I would enjoy, but it's not that kind of book-you have to read it carefully or you lose the thread. I liked the anecdotes and flashes of insight, but found myself increasingly reluctant to pick it back up. With confusion and some regret this has to go into my did not finish pile.
