Another "popular science" book I couldn't finish (I've read half of it). This time, I don't give a rating, because I suspect the problem is me. It was the same with Nate Silver, Oliver Sacks, and others: my only motivation for reading on was the progress I was making, the reward being finally finishing the whole thing. After a few dozens of pages, I always grow impatient and I'm like: "Why in the hell couldn't you just make it 60% shorter? Who has the patience to read sooo many examples illustrating the same principle? Who cares about the breakfast you had on the day of your discovery?..." To make it worse, this book is full of things you are almost certainly familiar with if you happen to follow a few psychology pages. On the other hand, I admit Kahneman's writing is captivating and he does a very good job explaining the results of his research to general public, which makes it a book worth reading for many people (not me, though).
